Win a Scholarship to Attend the ACS Leadership/ Advocacy Summit, April 2–5, 2022, Washington, DC

Thanks to the generosity of the members of the Tennessee Chapter of the American College of Surgeons, we are pleased to offer a $2,000.00 scholarship for a Young Fellow to attend the 2022 ACS Leadership / Advocacy Summit (LAS).

Applicants must submit a short statement (less than 250 words) on why a trip to attend the ACS Leadership / Advocacy Summit will improve his/her practice of surgery and stimulate participation in the Tennessee Chapter and a CV to wanda@tnacs.org by December 15.

The funds must be used to support the registration fee, airline fare, meals, and hotel costs for the applicant. There will be a requirement for the winning applicant to attend the 2022 Tennessee Chapter meeting in Nashville (August 11-14) and give a report on the benefits of this award to the recipient. There will be an additional $500 award to defray expense of attending the August 11-14 Chapter meeting to give the report.

All Young Fellows (age 45 and younger) who are TNACS Chapter members are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

The deadline for application is December 15, 2021.
