2021 Fellow Applications Now Open – Application Fee Waived for Associate Members
As President of the Tennessee Chapter of the American College of Surgeons (TNACS), I would like to encourage you to take the next important step in your surgical career, if you meet the membership requirements, and apply to become a Fellow of the ACS (FACS) by the December 1st deadline. Applications received by December 1st will be considered for conferral of Fellowship at the 2021 ACS Clinical Congress in Washington, DC.
Applying is easy, and as an Associate Fellow, the application fee will be waived. If you do not meet the requirements this year, please be aware that you may apply in subsequent years prior to December 1st of each year.
I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage you to get engaged with TNACS. The opportunity to network with surgical peers locally, to participate in advocacy activities at the state and federal levels, take on leadership roles, and to conveniently attend educational meetings with CME are just a few of the many benefits to joining.
If you have any questions about the benefits of Fellowship or the chapter, please do not hesitate to contact me or our Chapter Administrator (wanda@tnacs.org)
Take this opportunity to become a Fellow and add the FACS designation to your credentials.
Best regards,
